Astrology - Tiger

Tiger (1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998)

Positive: Brave, strong, charismatic, and benevolent. Tigers are risk-takers and true adventurers.
Negative: Impetuous and hot-headed. These people aren’t good at taking orders from others.
Chinese Astrology Horoscope 2009 for the Tiger: As this is the year before his/her own year, 2009 can bring the Tiger some challenges, but never insurmountable ones. Avoid acting on impulse in 2009. It will be important to accept work responsibilities and to expand your knowledge set and skills base, rather than to push ahead aggressively on a professional level. Some disagreements with others could arise. Patience, controlled spending, and hard work will help Tigers to conquer any challenges that arise.

New Year = New Challenges

This is the first time that I'd be blogging for 2009 which is kinda weird since I have neglected (truly guilty) my obligation to vent out for the past few months. Maybe I'm just too busy or I was not too engrossed to write. YES, I found other helpful ways to do catharsis. Just to share, I would engage myself in not stressful activities which will eat most of my time, resto hopping and the most helpful was indulging myself in eating ice cream (Thank God Cold Shack found Naga City!)

Ok, so this is new year and normally I would be writing my new year's resolution (kuno). Yep, I rarely live up to my maso-sadism rules which eventually I would rationalize in the end that in one way or another, it's a form of self-deprivation so why make one right? Nah, maybe I'm being too pessimistic, ok, let's make use of euphemism -- New Year's resolution is like a reality show wherein the participant has a specific goal and in the end after the goals are achieved, the participant becones a celebrity. Let's say one of my resolution is to lose weight and eventually i did, what will happen is my friends will be taking how much weight i lost making me a instant celebrity. Maybe not really a celebrity but definitely the talk of the group. Thus, self deprivation comes into the picture since I must live up to what I have achieved to really call it a resolution. Honestly, I'm not good with keeping resolutions so why make one?

On the other hand, I'm thankful for my blessings last year. Though I've literally job hopping, I never experienced being a real bum (tin's definition: bum = unemployed for 1 month or more). Actually, I was never honest with my resume when it comes to my employment record but for the record since this blog is private, I'll share them to you. First work was with LCC (lasted for 2 months - malpractice in testing), second work was with BPI (lasted for 3 months - boss problems), Third job was with IBM (lasted for 9 months - health problems but was the best one!), Fourth job was with Internet Language School (lasted for 3 months - no stability with the company) and lastly with Ateneo de Naga (been working for almost 3 months and counting). So there, I literally did job hopping but I'm not ashamed of it, I was happy with what I did -- NO REGRETS! Also, I'm very thankful that with the mistake I did, Tim still accepted me. Some people may not know it but when I was in Manila I fell in love with another guy and eventually trading my 3 year relationship with a 3 month fling. Uh-huh, I was so stupid then but hey, you can't blame me, right from the start I was honest that I don't want to be in a long distance relationship. I can't blame myself if someone else was making me feel special while the one I'm committed to became less "involved". Good thing I came to the realization that what I felt for the guy was very superficial so thank u Lord for the bang in the head. Lastly, I'm so thankful because at least I can somehow manage my finances already, at least partly. Yeah, I need help in this area because I am so impulsive -- financially! It really pays if someone controls and helps you manage your money.

Eventually, I am looking forward to more blessings for this year and I hope that I could find the inspiration for me to stay with my current job. Honestly, I don't see myself working, I'd rather engage in business than work. At the same time, my work is very demanding. I'm even thinking that I could be an old maid if I will last for 5 years in my job. Hah.. just thinking of my work gives me wrinkles. Someday I know I'll be known in Ateneo as the "agit" girl. So, good luck with the new year and with the new challenges starting with my job and my boss. Happy New Year everyone!

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne

A close friend gave me this book just last December because he knows that it will make me happy. I've been curious with the book ever since somebody (it's PJ I think) recommended the book to me and after a few months, one of my close friends (Kixie) told me that I should have the "must-have" book and then I decided to drop by National Book Store but when I saw the price I felt disheartened but I vowed to myself that I will have the book. Eventually, the guy that I was with during that time was an angel and unexpectedly, he gave me the book as his Christmas gift. That was my first experience of the LAW OF ATTRACTION.

Basically, the law of attraction is simple. YOU JUST HAVE TO BE POSITIVE THAT YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU WANT. Think of the world as a genie and tell the genie that you want this and you will get it. It applies to everything, from the weight that you want to the material things that you've always been craving for. You should just "feel" that it's as if you have what you've been always wanting for.

The only downside of the book is that it teaches you to "expect" that you'll be getting what you want which is contradictory to my belief. I've always believed that people shouldn't expect too much for they might be frustrated. It goes for me because when I'm not expecting things to happen, the emotions would linger longer than the expected events. But nevertheless, the book is good.

The book also teaches everyone to be optimistic. Optimism is one of the key to success if I'm not mistaken. Positive people would always succeed because in their mind, they know and believe that they can take the challenges of life and regardless of the failure, they would stand up and be proud of their bruises. One thing more, the book inculcates the value of sharing. There's a portion on the book which advises people not to think that they lack money because it will attract events for them to lose money. People should always think that they have more than enough and it's a requirement to share the excess.

More or less, the book will be a great help to those who needs a boost in their morale particularly for those who find it hard to believe in themselves. The book also shows you the values you need, to live a happy life. But let's face it, not everything you want will be laid on your feet, everybody should work hard as well. PLUS, you always get what you deserve right?

Questions -- Blaque

I wanna know why this feels so right
I wanna know why u hold me tight
Each and every night, it keeps me up all night
Thinkin' about the things i like
Can't believe your in my life
I wanna know why ur the one
The things that they should have you've already done
God sent u straight to me
You make me wanna sing lalalalala

Chorus:
But when you look at me, do you see your wife?
Can you picture us lovin' each other for life?
Are you playin' the role, just like the rest
These are the questions that I ask myself
If, another should come, who's finer than me
And she wanna take your love away, would you leave?
Baby please answer these questions

Could this be my whole fantasy
Maybe u could just be too good for me
If i don't wake then I won't see
Cuz if im not the one you met, then who is in me
In the mist of the tears how come, I love you more, and more, and more
I never longed for no one, yes its true
Seems like this questions keep me here with me
