When Someone Misses That Someone

when REAL FRIENDS part ways to SEARCH for their success, some things are SACRIFICED... their TIME to enjoy each other's company and their MERE PRESENCE which gives you theCOMFORT and ASSURANCE that you'll have someone to turn to.

..and the TORMENT of MISSING THEM and wanting to HOLD THEM kills you more.

but FRIENDSHIP doesn't end there.

because FRIENDSHIP is more than theHUGS, the TAPS, the GIMICKS, the LAUGHTER, the TEARS...

it is holding on to what isINVISIBLE  andTRUSTING that despite theABSENCE, you're FRIENDS... that you'll always be NO MATTER WHAT..

THIS IS WHAT FRIENDSHIP IS ALL ABOUT

... 'coz I'm Leaving on a Jetplane

Yesterday, we were in molino for a farewell party. Ca, may, oey, momi and the culprit (kixie) were there. It was about time that we say goodbye for the mean time to our dear friend, kixie, for she will be away for a while. She's bound for South Cotabato where she'll be spending her meaningful JVP months.  It was supposed to be an ordinary night with the typical "take care"s, "goodluck"s and "goodbye"s but I never felt that.  It became a night of reconnection, a simple act of reuniting. I was surprised by the countless stories that we shared and how much I missed them. THEM..the special persons who stood by me regardless of who I am and what I have. It's just sad that Kix has to leave though I know that it was meant to be, it was planned that she has to go there and be part of the community.  It just pains me knowing that there could be a greater possibility that we will not see each other as often as we want but I'm definite that whenever we want to keep in touch, we could always reach each other regardless of the distance. I'll keep the missed calls and texts in mind, kixie ^_^
Another shot. Tim is leaving too. It will also be this week and it's definite. Ooh..why does everybody leave? x_x Albeit, it's only a month or more, reality is he will not be here. Guess I have to think of some effective coping mechanism while they're away.

Everything You Do... Makes Me Know How Much I Love You

Just a few minutes ago, Tim was here to visit and check up on me. I'm bound for Legazpi tomorrow for an exam and a job interview in Metro Gaisano. Tim was making sure that I'm feeling well because yesterday I wasn't and see if there are things that I might still need that is essentila for tomorrow's trip. This is his indirect manner of saying "I want to go with you but my parents didn't permit me..." Nevertheless, his mere concern means a lot and I wouldn't mind if he'll not be there to share my anxiety for the exam. His presence this afternoon is already enough.

Ever since I started job hunting in Naga, Tim was always there to accompany me though I didn't oblige him to. It was like the two of us were both applying for the same job. If I'm applying for this id or clearance, he'd apply too. If I'm about to have my picture taken, he'd also comply even if it means more expenses on his part because I don't really know if he'll really apply for a real job. But what I see from his actions, he just wants to show his support for me which I can clearly comprehend.

Thus, this afternoon as I sat and glance at him with the air swiping across his face, I couldn't exactly tell how happy I am seeing him here, being with me. I couldn't even count the times when he would show his great affection for me and I couldn't even remember an instance when he demanded me of reciprocating his love the way he wanted it to be. He was always contented with what I could give and saw every good aspect in my bad experiences. I saw in his eyes as I was staring at him, the unfathomable kindness and patience which made me fall for him. The type of kindness and patience that few individuals possess. The one that made him unique and worth loving.
PUP...

Thank you for making me want to wake up in the morning and gradually embracing the rays of the sun.
Thank you for making me want to eat my breakfast knowing that if I didn't, you'd be so disappointed because you'd think that I'm on a diet even when you insist that I'm not FAT.
Thank you for making me appreciate life itself.
Thank you for showing me that life is indeed wonderful.
Thank you for every favor you've wholeheartedly done.
Thank you for not regretting of loving me AGAIN.
Thank you for being the music of my life.
Thank you for making me fall in love with you, not once, not twice but a hundred times and still counting.
Thank you for bringing smiles on my lips.
Thank you for pinching my cheeks which makes me think if I'm indeed gaining pounds or you just find me adorable (?!)
Thank you for TRAINING me on how to be PATIENT.
Thank you for the silence when I need it.
Thank you for the hands which brings me security.
Thank you for the nice bear hugs which makes me fall asleep.
Thank you for being the lyrics of my music.
Thank you for the simple taps on the back which brings me encouragement.
Thank you for the wonderful and meaningful roadtrips.
Thank you for cooking meals for me.
Thank you for endless thumb wrestling sessions.
Thank you for bearing with me.
Thank you for loving me.
Thank you for not giving up even if I thought of doing so.

There are more reasons for me to thank you and I know you know that. Hey pup, I hope that with these simple things, you'd feel that I'm really and deeply grateful of having you. I guess, this is my simple way of saying how much I love you. ^_^

Don't Matter

I was supposed to attend the christening of Ate Lala's baby boy, Jairus Jan, today but eventually, my mom asked me to attend our family day instead. My mom's contention wasI am rarely with them and many times i have missed some family gathering so it's about time that I make up for the lost moments with them. Finally, I agreed to attend the family day instead of spending the day with Ate Lala and baby Jairus whom i greatly want to see.

All the while, I'm going to be stuck with boredom for I planned not to swim since my batchmates and I will be having our swimming party tomorrow. So, as my little cousins were enjoying the pool, I found a great relief. I found that playing with stufftoys (Elmo) could bring back the memories of my childhood days and I had fun twitching Elmo, pretending that he's dancing to whatever music I hear on my ipod. Just then, I suddenly miss talking to my relatives. Before, I would usually sit with my mom and aunts and listen to their girl talks. I did that, just today and I learned that my aunt is having marital problems with his guy. As the afternoon started to end, I suddenly felt that I missed a lot of things. I haven't been to my cousin dana's recital, my cousin lei-anne's award-winning declamation contest, I haven't been able to talk to cousin elaine and I can feel that she wants me to listen just like what we used to do before and I haven't been able to be there for my cousins and relatives when they need me for support or for them to share with me their joy.

Maybe yes, I was too busy with my thesis then but how could I miss something more important than thesis? I have a sense of guilt as of the moment. But it's not too late, I know that. There is still some time to make up for those things. Geez, i'm sorry.
